5 secret walks within 15 minutes (Rhuys Peninsula)

1) Pointe de Penvins & Chapel (Sarzeau) — The Hyphen of Land and Sea
Mood: A slender promontory, sea on both sides, a small chapel facing the wind.Duration / Level: 30–50 min, very easy (flat).Starting Point: Chapel car park (Penvins).Light Tip: Clear mornings or golden late afternoons.Good to know: West wind + rising tide = spectacular waves. Avoid flip-flops if the sand is wet.
2) Suscinio Marshes (Sarzeau) — Silence and Wading Birds
Mood: Reeds, canals, birds, and the castle in the background.Duration / Level: 45–75 min, easy.Starting Point: Marsh car park (reserve side).Light Tip: Early morning mist or very end of day.Good to know: Binoculars useful. Strict respect of protected areas.
3) Coastal Path Logeo → Brillac (Sarzeau) — The Gulf in Miniature
Mood: Calm inlets, leaning oaks, low stone walls — like Île-aux-Moines without the boat.Duration / Level: 60–90 min round trip, easy, a few roots.Starting Point: Logeo hamlet (parking near the port).Light Tip: High tide for reflections; late afternoon for warm tones.Good to know: Narrow paths in places; closed shoes recommended.
4) Petit-Mont (Arzon) — Megaliths and Horizon

Mood: Alternating coves and cliffs, mineral shore, pristine ocean.Duration / Level: 60–80 min round trip, moderate elevation.Starting Point: Kervert beach (easy parking outside summer).Light Tip: Golden hour is ideal; return by dusk possible (bring a light headlamp).Good to know: Beware of slippery rocks; avoid descending at high tide.
